"1920s built Magestic theatre is a great venue with an interesting atmosphere for any concert. Great sound from any seat. Paul Cook concert was playing in San Antonio over the weekend, Had never heard of him but listened to the sample of his music on the internet. Described as a well-known blues/jazz guitarist. Loud but enjoyable first half of the concert. Music was more like acid rock after intermission, songs sounded the same and you could not hear what he was singing because the band was uncomfortably loud. He brought the electric guitar out so we were hoping for something similar to Lynard Skynard. Sorry to say the second half, we listened to 4 songs and left along with many other patrons due to the extreme loudness."
